Pearl Jam released the oddly-titled Merkin Ball EP in 1995 as a companion piece to Mirror Ball, an album they released in collaboration with Neil Young. The EP features two songs that, for some reason, didn’t make the cut for Mirror Ball. These two songs happen to be two of my favorite PJ songs.
Track one is known among PJ fans as “I Got Shit”, but is listed as “I Got Id”, and was my first choice for posting here. Track two is “Long Road”. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to include it, instead. But why stop there?
