Josh Homme has been throwing off the Awesome Curve for everyone since 1988, starting with Kyuss, then QOTSA and more recently Them Crooked Vultures. Somewhere in between QOTSA and one of The Desert Sessions, the Curve Ruiner teamed up with Jesse Hughes and created Eagles of Death Metal. For a little tongue-in-cheek rock n’ roll fun.
After their first appearance on a Desert Sessions disc some 6 years before, Peace Love Death Metal was finally released in 2004, featuring “Stuck In The Metal”, a hot cover of the Stealers Wheel classic.
