Low formed in 1993 in Duluth, Minnesota as a jab at the beating, bleeding heart of the reigning rock of the era, grunge. “What if we play everything slower and quieter?” was the question that no one was asking but Low decided to answer, sometimes turning down their amps at shows.
Fronted and anchored by a Mormon husband and wife duo, Low have released eight albums on three different labels (four if you count their own), been featured in a GAP commercial and, most recently, worked with Robert Plant. They have also covered Joy Division to great success.
This is “Transmission” from A Means To An End: The Music of Joy Division.
